Error on install

I get this message at the top of the home page:
Warning: mysql_fetch_assoc(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/ca/caf/caffeinebydesign.com/public/www/agents/classes/XpDb.php on line 101

This is only on the home page, all others are OK.
Any ideas?

I think this may be a problem with the temporary table .stat

I have error reporting on and I cant turn it off on my shared hosting/
